In life, we can never know in advance when we will encounter dangerous situations; therefore, equipping yourself with fire prevention and fighting knowledge to protect yourself and the community is extremely important.
Did you know that just one minute of carelessness in using electricity, fire sources, or flammable materials can lead to a fire with unpredictable consequences?
In fact, a fire only forms when three elements are present: Combustible material – Oxygen – Heat source. Therefore, proactive prevention is always the most effective solution to protect yourself, those around you, and the learning environment.
As students, please keep in mind the following basic fire prevention principles:
ELECTRICAL SAFETY– Do not overload electrical outlets.
– Regularly check wires, outlets, and electrical appliances.
– Disconnect the power supply when not in use or before leaving the room.
MANAGING FIRE AND HEAT SOURCES– Keep fire and heat sources away from flammable materials.
– Be cautious when cooking, welding, cutting, or using heat-generating equipment.
– Absolutely no smoking in restricted areas.
MANAGING FLAMMABLE AND EXPLOSIVE SUBSTANCES ACCORDING TO REGULATIONS– Store according to regulations.
– Arrange neatly and at proper safe distances.
– Equip appropriate firefighting equipment in high-risk areas.
REGULARLY INSPECT FIRE PREVENTION AND FIGHTING EQUIPMENTFire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, and firefighting systems need to be checked and maintained periodically to ensure they are always ready for operation in the event of an incident.
Do not ignore any unusual signs! When detecting fire safety hazards, report immediately to the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue forces or the nearest authorities/units for timely handling, preventing the fire from spreading and minimizing damage.EACH STUDENT SHOULD BE PROACTIVE IN
Raising awareness about fire prevention and fighting. Strictly complying with fire safety regulations. Proactively preventing fire and explosion hazards in studying and daily life activities. Contributing to building a safe and civilized school environment.Remember! “Prevention is better than cure” is not just a slogan, but the awareness, responsibility, and action of each of us in our daily lives.
