Did you know that just one minute of carelessness in using electricity, fire sources, or flammable materials can lead to a fire with unpredictable consequences?
In fact, a fire only forms when three elements are present: Combustible material – Oxygen – Heat source. Therefore, proactive prevention is always the most effective solution to protect yourself, those around you, and the learning environment.
As students, please keep in mind the following basic fire prevention principles:
– Do not overload electrical outlets.
– Regularly check wires, outlets, and electrical appliances.
– Disconnect the power supply when not in use or before leaving the room.
– Keep fire and heat sources away from flammable materials.
– Be cautious when cooking, welding, cutting, or using heat-generating equipment.
– Absolutely no smoking in restricted areas.
– Store according to regulations.
– Arrange neatly and at proper safe distances.
– Equip appropriate firefighting equipment in high-risk areas.
Fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, and firefighting systems need to be checked and maintained periodically to ensure they are always ready for operation in the event of an incident.
