After nearly a week of exciting competition, on the morning of July 4, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Nguyen Tat Thanh University held the “Closing and Award Ceremony for the 2025–2026 Student Sports Festival.” The event was not only an occasion to honor teams and individuals for their outstanding achievements but also marked the conclusion of a meaningful series of sports activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of physical training and strengthening student cohesion throughout the Faculty.
A week of exciting competition, spreading the sports spirit
The “Faculty of Pharmacy Student Sports Festival for the 2025–2026 academic year” kicked off on June 28, featuring a wide range of competitions that attracted enthusiastic participation and support from numerous staff, lecturers, and students. The sports festival included various categories such as men’s soccer, badminton, tug-of-war, and a triathlon (mixed relay). Each event brought a vibrant atmosphere with many compelling matches, demonstrating the solidarity, determination, and passion of NTTU youth.
More than just a playground for physical training, the sports festival was also an opportunity for teams within and outside the faculty to interact, connect, promote teamwork, and build a dynamic and positive learning environment. Through each match and competition, the athletes demonstrated great effort, a fair-play spirit, and a determination to conquer common goals.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to teams and individuals who achieved high results in the competitions.
In badminton, the Organizing Committee presented First, Second, and Third prizes to athletes across all 5 competition categories: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. The matches were captivating, featuring impressive shots and demonstrating the technical skills, bravery, and fair-play spirit of the athletes, which contributed to the appeal of this year’s sports festival.

In the triathlon category, the “Gong La Ganh” team excellently won First prize; the “24DYC1A” team took Second prize, and the “Dung Lieu Dung Luc” team received Third prize.
The First prize for the triathlon went to the “Gong La Ganh” team.
In the tug-of-war competition, the “24DYC1A” team performed impressively to claim the championship, affirming their solidarity and collective strength.
The champions of the tug-of-war were the “24DYC1A” team.
In men’s soccer, the Organizing Committee awarded the “Best Goalkeeper” title to student Le Hoang Phuc Thien and the “Best Player” title to student Phan Trong Khoi. The “TEN WARRIORS FC” team won Third prize, “LAT SPORT” took Second prize, and the championship went to the “ADREANALINE” team after a highly persuasive campaign.

Sports festival concludes with memorable moments
The closing and award ceremony not only recognized the outstanding achievements of the athletes but also concluded a successful sports season, leaving many marks of solidarity, interaction, and discipline.
The sports festival is an annual activity of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, aiming to provide an environment for students to train physically, enhance social interaction, and develop comprehensive skills within the school environment.
Beyond sports, the Faculty’s students actively participate in scientific research, professional competitions, programs on safe medication use for the community, volunteer activities, blood donation, and various exchange programs and practical experiences at businesses. Through these, learners are not only strengthening their professional knowledge but also gradually perfecting their professional skills and sense of social responsibility.
Alongside the sports festival closing ceremony, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Nguyen Tat Thanh University also organized the “Launching Ceremony of the Pharmacy Faculty Business Club” and the “Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony” with various businesses, research institutes, and entities operating in the pharmaceutical sector. This series of activities contributes to strengthening the connection between the University and enterprises while opening up more opportunities for internships, career experiences, and skill development for students.
Thereby, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Nguyen Tat Thanh University continues to affirm its training orientation that closely integrates academics, practice, and business, helping to prepare “future pharmacists” to confidently integrate and advance their careers in the pharmaceutical field.
