During the past July and September, Nguyen Tat Thanh University organized the 2025 “Free Oral Health Examination and Consultation” Program for staff and students at the Clinical Area of the University’s Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology. The program was directly conducted and advised by doctor-lecturers from the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology to detect and treat oral diseases early, thereby contributing to improving oral health and quality of life.
Oral health – an indispensable foundation for general health and quality of life
Oral health plays an important role in daily life. Healthy teeth not only make chewing easy, create a beautiful smile, and build confident communication, but also directly affect each person’s image and life. In the spirit of caring for the health of staff and students, under the direction of the Board of Directors of Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU), and with the support of internal and external units, the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology implemented the 2025 “Free Oral Health Examination and Consultation” program. This is a practical activity aimed at contributing to enhancing the health quality of the NTTU community.

The program was organized into two phases of examination in July and September, along with oral health consultations at the Dental Simulation and Clinical Research Center (DSCRC) of the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology – NTTU, attracting the participation of 300 turns of staff members and students. The beneficiaries of the program included lecturers, staff, and students of the University. All were directly examined and advised by an experienced team of lecturers, who also guided them on scientific and appropriate oral care methods tailored to each individual.

Close attention from the University
The program is not merely a conventional health care activity but also demonstrates the practical care of Nguyen Tat Thanh University’s Leaders towards the health of the school’s cadres, staff, and students. Through this activity, everyone received free check-ups and consultations to detect and treat oral diseases early, thereby raising awareness about maintaining oral health and preventing illnesses.

Modern facilities – the foundation for the quality of Odonto-Stomatology training
To successfully implement the program, the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology maximized its strengths in modern infrastructure, which has been invested to meet international standards. The clinics and advanced equipment not only serve teaching and research purposes but also effectively support the deployment of community activities. This affirms the University’s sustainable development direction in combining education with community service.
The program also provided a practical learning environment for Odonto-Stomatology students. Students had the opportunity to cultivate communication skills, consultation skills, and clinical practice under the guidance of lecturers. This is an important preparatory step for students to confidently enter the profession, becoming Odonto-Stomatology doctors who are both professionally competent and dedicated to the community.
The “Free Oral Health Examination and Consultation” program has brought practical benefits to staff and students, while simultaneously spreading the message: “Oral health – the foundation of general health and quality of life”. The Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology – Nguyen Tat Thanh University will continue to maintain and expand these meaningful activities, affirming its commitment to accompanying the community on the journey of oral health care.
