The high school graduation exam has concluded, but for many 12th graders, the real pressure has only just begun. After days of straining over exam papers and scores, many candidates continue to face other anxieties: what major to choose, where to study, and whether today’s decision will fit their future orientation a few years down the road.
Many students are beginning to prioritize environments with early career experience
After the high school graduation exam, the important thing for many students is no longer just finding a school that “fits their scores”, but finding an environment suitable for their abilities, goals, and the future demands of the labor market.
This trend has also driven many universities to pivot strongly toward applied training, increasing corporate connectivity and embedding career experiences directly into the learning process.
“I no longer choose a school based solely on the benchmark scores or the name of the major, but care more about an environment that can give me opportunities for practical experience and early corporate networking,” Minh Anh, a 12th-grade student in Ho Chi Minh City, shared when looking up university admission information this year.
In this year’s admission season, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is one of the institutions drawing significant attention from candidates researching the block of universities that train in connection with enterprises and practical experience.

Corporate networking activities, specialized workshops, and academic playgrounds help students access the actual working environment early on
Currently, NTTU offers multi-disciplinary training to nearly 40,000 students, trainees, and PhD candidates across various groups of majors from health sciences and technology to business, communications, and design.
Moving far beyond just theory, many training programs at the school are designed to maximize career experience. Students can participate in specialized workshops, real projects, corporate-led modules, early internships, and learn directly from experts currently working in the field.
To date, the school has achieved national and international quality accreditations for numerous training programs, including programs meeting AUN-QA standards.
According to the 2026 admissions plan, NTTU expects to deploy multiple admission methods such as utilizing high school graduation exam scores, high school transcripts (academic records) based on various criteria, scores from competency evaluation exams, and combined admission review.

Beyond just tuition fees, parents are increasingly mindful of the learning environment’s quality
Tuition fees remain a primary topic of concern for many families when choosing a university.
At NTTU, the university currently commits to stabilizing tuition fees throughout the entire course, with no mid-course increases. This is considered one of the factors helping parents be more proactive in preparing financial plans for their children’s higher education.
In 2026, NTTU is rolling out a scholarship fund worth up to 75 billion VND, including many 100% tuition fee support slots for qualifying freshmen.
Facilities are also a major factor candidates look into when researching universities.
In recent years, NTTU has continuously invested in a system of laboratories, simulation rooms, and practice centers for students across many fields. Notably, the school’s practical training system is frequently highly commended by international experts during assessment and professional working visits.

Not just learning in lecture halls, NTTU students also constantly participate in practical activities, seminars, and corporate networking – where knowledge is “activated” into skills and career experiences
The university is currently expanding its research and innovation ecosystem with two facilities: the Global Hub and the Innovation Hub. Specifically within the health sciences sector, the Odonto-Stomatology Simulation and Clinical Research Center has been brought into operation to enhance practical training for students, while receiving numerous positive evaluations from international experts during recent review visits.
Alongside investing in physical facilities, Nguyen Tat Thanh University constantly expands its partnership network with many domestic and international enterprises to boost opportunities for internships, real-world experience, and employment for students right from their university days.
Scientific research activities, academic competitions, and corporate connection programs are also pushed forward to help students improve their professional skills, adaptability, and gain early exposure to real work environments.
After the high school graduation exam, many candidates begin to pay more attention to the learning environment, career experience, and development opportunities after entering university
Beyond focusing on training and student experience, NTTU also continuously marks its presence on numerous national and international university ranking tables. Remarkably, for the first time, the school secured a position in the world university rankings of THE World University Rankings 2026, placing 5th in Vietnam.
According to the publication of QS Asia University Rankings 2026, the school belongs to the top 30% of the best universities in Asia. These results showcase the university’s strong investment trend in research, training, and internationalization in recent years.
In a context where the trends of choosing a university are gradually changing, training environments that emphasize practical experience, industry connections, and expanding international standards are becoming highly sought-after options for candidates following the high school graduation exam.
