Connecting Resources for Local Economic Development

At the program, delegates discussed the economic development orientation of the North Tay Ninh region, local potentials and advantages, key projects currently calling for investment, as well as mechanisms and policies to support the business community.

The discussion focused on enhancing trade connectivity, expanding markets, and building economic linkage chains among localities. Delegates also shared new requirements placed on businesses during digital transformation, business model innovation, human resource quality enhancement, and the application of technology to production and governance.

The participation of Nguyen Tat Thanh University’s representatives in the program contributes to expanding the space for cooperation between higher education institutions and the business community. The team of lecturers, research fellows, and members of the University’s Business Club directly exchanged views with local businesses regarding the feasibility of transferring new models, solutions, and technologies. Through this connection, both parties have additional bases to determine the actual needs of businesses, thereby researching appropriate cooperative programs in human resource training, professional consulting, applied research, and the development of innovation capacity for the locality.

Within the framework of the July 2026 Business Trip journey, the delegation visited and learned about operations at three enterprises operating in the fields of real estate, automotive trading, and food technology. This is an activity organized by the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Tay Ninh Province to create conditions for members to interact, learn, find partners, supply sources, and business cooperation opportunities.

At Hoang Quan Group Co., Ltd. – Tay Ninh Branch, the delegation learned about real estate and social housing development activities, including the Golden City Tay Ninh project. Delegates were introduced to urban development orientations, utility systems, and the application potential of smart home technology in modern housing projects.

In the trade and service sector, the delegation visited GreenWay Automotives Joint Stock Company – Tay Ninh Branch, the unit operating the OMODA & JAECOO showroom. Identifying Business Needs

The group of 12 students participating in the program came from the NTT Bilingual Training Institute, Faculty of Creative Arts and Communication, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health Management, Faculty of Nursing, and Faculty of Business Administration.

The diversity of majors gave students multiple perspectives when approaching business operations. Besides knowledge of management, business, and communication, they also had the conditions to observe human resource demands in the fields of healthcare, services, technology, production, and market development.

Through exchanges with leaders and personnel at businesses, students gained a more specific understanding of recruitment requirements, professional competencies, communication skills, teamwork capabilities, and adaptability to real-world environments. This information is meaningful for the process of career selection, study orientation, and preparing baggage before entering the labor market.

The field trip also helped students realize that specialized knowledge needs to be combined with observational skills, problem-solving mindset, and the capacity for continuous learning. Direct experiences at businesses serve as a basis for learners to compare classroom knowledge with job requirements, thereby proactively perfecting their personal capacities.

For lecturers and research fellows, the program provides additional practical data regarding business needs and issues arising during local economic development. This can become a reference source for teaching, applied research, curriculum development, and proposing technology transfer solutions.

For businesses, the university’s participation opens up opportunities to access young human resources, a team of experts, and research models suitable for the requirements of production and business innovation. Direct connections at the program are a premise to form deeper cooperative activities in training, recruitment, research, and product commercialization.

Bringing students to participate in entrepreneur networking and enterprise visit programs demonstrates the practice-oriented training approach of Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Not only acquiring professional knowledge, students are also facilitated to contact the professional environment, understand social needs more thoroughly, and clearly define their personal responsibilities throughout the learning process.
