NTTU conducts health check-ups for staff, lecturers, and employees

Recently, Nguyen Tat Thanh University organized periodic health examinations for more than 1,000 managers, lecturers, and employees. This is an annual activity showing the deep concern of the University in taking care of the health and welfare benefits for employees.

The examination contents included: general clinical examination (internal medicine, surgery, otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology, odonto-stomatology…), blood pressure measurement, blood test, urine test, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, X-ray,… Besides, employees could detect potential diseases early and receive direct consultations, thereby planning timely treatment and preventing dangerous complications.

The periodic health examination program at Nguyen Tat Thanh University is one of the effective ways to raise the awareness of managers, lecturers, and employees about the importance of health care. Through this activity, Nguyen Tat Thanh University wishes to raise employees’ awareness about the importance of taking care of their health, so that everyone can have a suitable health care plan and build a healthier, more scientific lifestyle. This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the University’s concern for the health of managers, lecturers, and employees, thereby contributing to building a healthy and effective working environment.

These are important factors contributing to improving the quality of management and training, while promoting the cooperative relationship between the university and foreign universities in all professional activities such as: lecturer and student exchanges and training, technology transfer, scientific research cooperation, … In addition, Nguyen Tat Thanh University also focuses on creating a dynamic and fresh academic environment so that each staff member and lecturer can develop their own research capacity. It creates many forums through organizing national and international scientific conferences and seminars, attracting the participation of a large number of scientists, researchers, and leading experts in many fields to exchange and share professional experiences and lessons, especially new technologies. The university regularly coordinates with international universities to organize academic exchanges between lecturers and students.

At the same time, to promote the spirit of scientific research among lecturers, Nguyen Tat Thanh University also creates mechanisms to encourage lecturers to propose independent research directions, link research with teaching, coordinate research domestically and internationally, and guide students to participate in scientific research.
