In the 2026 – 2027 academic year, Nguyen Tat Thanh University will put into operation a new female dormitory located at No. 270 Ven Song Street, An Phu Dong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. With an investment budget of over 100 billion VND for facilities, an accommodation fee of 500,000 VND/month, and a location just over 1km away from learning campuses, the new dormitory is expected to create a suitable housing option for female students studying at NTTU.
In the process of preparing to enter university, besides choosing majors and schools, the issue of accommodation is always a major concern for many parents and candidates, especially for students coming from provinces and other cities to Ho Chi Minh City to study.
By putting the female dormitory at 270 Ven Song Street into operation for the 2026 – 2027 academic year, Nguyen Tat Thanh University continues to expand accommodation conditions, contributing to supporting students in stabilizing their daily life during their studies.
Dormitory 270 for female students was newly built and invested by NTTU with a budget of over 100 billion VND, belonging to the complex of the Female Dormitory and the Concentrated Living Area of the Department of National Defense Education. The dormitory is exclusively designated to welcome female students enrolling in the 2026 – 2027 academic year.
The rooms in the female dormitory are equipped with bunk beds, air conditioners, wardrobes, and basic living amenities, supporting students to stabilize their lives when starting their university journey
Accommodation Fee of 500,000 VND/month, Full Amenities, and Convenient Location
According to information from the University, female students residing at Dormitory 270 enjoy a preferential rate of 500,000 VND/month/student. This fee includes 3m³ of water and 10kWh of electricity. In the context where renting and living costs in Ho Chi Minh City pose a significant burden on many families, the aforementioned accommodation rate provides students with a suitable choice when starting their university life. For parents, a stable residence with management that is convenient for studying is also a crucial factor when sending their children to study far from home.
In addition to the affordable fee, Dormitory 270 is arranged with various amenities serving daily needs. The dormitory features a centralized cafeteria, automatic beverage vending machines, and a free drinking water supply system from high-end RO hot and cold water dispensers. Within the rooms, students are provided with optimally designed bunk beds, 2 – 2.5Hp air conditioners, waterproof wooden wardrobes, and wooden shoe racks. The restroom areas are equipped with premium sanitary fixtures, suitable for collective living models.
One of the advantageous points of Dormitory 270 is its location, which is just over 1km away from Campus 331 and Campus 1165 of Nguyen Tat Thanh University. This distance makes it more convenient for students to commute to class, participate in learning activities, and utilize university facilities.
Shortening travel time has practical significance for students, especially in the initial stage of getting used to the university environment. When the residence is close to the learning campuses, students can be more proactive in managing their time for studying, personal life, joining clubs, extracurricular activities, and programs organized by the University.

The University Accompanies Parents in Caring for Students
Sharing about the investment and expansion of the student accommodation system, Dr. Nguyen Mai Lan – Chairwoman of the University Council of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, stated that besides the training mission, the University always cares about supporting conditions for learners, including accommodation, living conditions, and the peace of mind of parents when sending their children to study in Ho Chi Minh City.
“For many families, sending a child to university is not just a story of choosing a major or a school, but also a very practical anxiety about accommodation, living expenses, safety, and the ability of the students to adapt when living away from home for the first time. The University thoroughly understands those concerns. Therefore, NTTU always considers accompanying parents in caring for students as an important part of its responsibility,” Dr. Nguyen Mai Lan shared.
According to Dr. Nguyen Mai Lan, a good university environment should not only provide knowledge and occupational skills but also create conditions for students to stabilize their lives, study with peace of mind, and step-by-step mature. Therein, a suitable residence, reasonable costs, a convenient location for commuting, and a healthy living environment are of great significance, particularly for female freshmen and students from other provinces and cities.
“When students have a stable place to live, parents will be more reassured, while the students have better conditions to focus on their studies, participate in skill-building activities, and adapt to independent life. The dormitory is therefore not just a place to stay, but also a part of NTTU’s student support activities,” Dr. Nguyen Mai Lan emphasized.
She added that the investment in the female dormitory at 270 Ven Song Street is a concrete step to enhance living conditions for students. “NTTU hopes that parents, when sending their children to study at the school, can feel that the University not only accompanies students in learning but also cares about their practical needs throughout the training process along with the family,” Dr. Nguyen Mai Lan stated.

Over 1,000 Accommodation Slots for Female Students
According to information from Nguyen Tat Thanh University, in the 2026 – 2027 academic year, female students studying at the school will have access to over 1,000 accommodation slots through the housing system arranged and connected by the University. Therein, students can register to stay at two dormitories, including Dormitory 298A Nguyen Tat Thanh and Dormitory 270 Ven Song Street, An Phu Dong Ward. In addition, the University also introduces and supports students who wish to reside at the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City Dormitory.
The expansion of the housing system provides female students with more accommodation options that suit their studying and living needs. This is also one of the practical support conditions, contributing to helping students stabilize their lives when starting their university journey in Ho Chi Minh City.
Particularly, NTTU allocates over 50 free housing scholarships for students from Cambodia, Laos… This policy contributes to supporting international students during their studies and daily life in Vietnam, while demonstrating the University’s care for learners in a diverse and integrated university environment.
Choosing NTTU, Gaining Advantages from Practical Policies
In the 2026 admissions season, alongside majors, benchmarks, and career opportunities, student support policies are increasingly becoming an important factor in the decision-making process of candidates and parents.
